DETROIT, MI — Mitchelle Blair, 36, will be in Wayne County’s family court Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a custody hearing related to her two surviving children.

She pleaded guilty Monday two killing her two other children, 13-year-old Stoni Blair and 9-year-old Stephen Berry, whom she called “demons,” alleging they raped her 8-year-old surviving son.

She stored their bodies in her deep freezer, where they were discovered during an eviction in March.

Blair admitted beating Stoni and Stephen numerous times, throwing scalding water on them, putting bags over their heads to make them pass out and starving Stoni by feeding her only one bowl of oatmeal a day.

“I don’t feel no remorse for the death of them demons,” Blair said in court.

“She raped my son,” Blair said of Stoni. “I intentionally killed her.”

Blair also has a surviving 17-year-old daughter who turns 18 and becomes a legal adult next month.

Alexander J. Dorsey is the 35-year-old father of Stoni and Blair’s surviving 17-year-old daughter; and Steven Berry, 31, of Redford, is the father of Stephen and Blair’s surviving 8-year-old.

They are fighting to retain custody rights and hadn’t seen their children in over two years leading up to the discovery of bodies. Both men say they are currently unemployed. Dorsey lives with his mother and Berry with friends, they said during testimony in the custody trial.

Dorsey and Berry have been permitted supervised visitation while custody is determined and Dorsey said his 17-year-old daughter seems to be doing well.

“We talk about good things,” he said after Blair pleaded guilty in court Monday, “not about this stuff.”

Blair will be sentenced on charges of felony murder and premeditated murder July 13.
