Apparently Jimmy Kimmel pranks are now holiday traditions.

That thing where the late night host asks parents to lie to their children and say they’ve eaten their Halloween candy is now a yearly thing, as inescapable as pumpkin everything and costumes that you will regret wearing on Nov. 1. This year, apparently, a record number of parents pretended to eat their children’s hopes and dreams, and a shocking number of them don’t know how to turn their phones sideways.

Anyways, Happy Halloween or something.
