A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after officers found two young children stabbed to death at a house in Bradford.
West Yorkshire police said they were called by paramedics to an address in Undercliffe at 11.28am following reports of an injured child.
â€œOfficers found two young children with stab wounds,â€ a police statement said. â€œBoth children received treatment at the scene but were pronounced dead a short time later.â€
It added: â€œA 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder and inquiries are continuing. Police are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.â€
Subsequent reports said the address concerned was in Mint Street, a cul-de-sac of homes in the north-east of the city.
A spokeswoman for the Yorkshire ambulance service confirmed its staff had attended the incident.
