Anastasia, when she was 17-years-old before her surgery, fell for Quentin immediately over their shared interests
Quentin Dehar when he was 16-years-old is on a mission to become a Ken doll
‘We were at a boat party in Saint Tropez and Quentin walked over to me and said: ‘I’ve found the Barbie to my Ken.’
‘It was so straightforward. We both knew we had met a partner who was going to enable us to become the Ken and Barbie we had always dreamed of being.’
Quentin said the two are soulmates who were destined to meet.
He said: ‘Our parents don’t call us Anastasia and Quentin anymore – they call us Barbie and Ken.’
Growing up, the duo say they were obsessed with Barbie and Ken, with Anastasia the owner of more than 100 Barbies.
Aged 15, Anastasia became aware of her looks and realised she ‘wanted to become Barbie’
When she was young, Anastasia felt she wasn’t a pretty girl and was too pale
She said: ‘My parents provided me with the best education possible and they also bought me all the Barbies that I wanted too.
‘At one point, I had over 100 Barbies in my collection and I played with them all the time. I loved them. They were so beautiful.’
By 15, she became aware of her looks and realised she wanted to become Barbie.
Quentin went through a similar realisation and wanted to emulate Ken’s physical features.
He said: ‘I adored my Ken dolls. I had all the wonderful Ken accessories to go with them too – the toy plane, the house and the convertible car.
‘I loved his billionaire lifestyle.’
Anastasia, who grew up in Saint Petersburg, Russia before moving to Paris as a university student, said: ‘When I was about 15 years old, I started to become a lot more aware of how I looked.
‘At secondary school, I just felt like I was never a really pretty girl and I believed I looked very pale too.

Anastasia felt ‘so much better after my first nose job and boob job, it was like armour’
Quentin was also much happier with his appearance after Botox which he said made him look more like Ken
‘I turned to the Barbies I always loved as a kid. I just loved how tanned and perfect they were.
‘I realised that I had always wanted to look like the dolls that I used to play with.
As you get older, you get to become who you want to be – and now I knew I wanted to become a Barbie.
‘I started to learn how plastic surgery could allow me to change into a bronzed and beautiful doll.’
Aged 17, Anastasia had her first nose job costing £3,250 and paid for by her parents.
A year later, she had her first boob job, costing £5,000 to take her from a 32C to a 32E.
Anastasia said: ‘I felt so much better after my first nose job and boob job – it was like having armour.
‘My parents were so pleased with my nose job too. I had always had a tiny, ugly bump on my nose but after the surgery, it was slightly less visible.

‘However, my mum and dad weren’t so happy about my boob job.
‘They didn’t understand why I would want bigger breasts but they couldn’t resist treating me to cosmetic surgery.
‘I was a good daughter – I studied hard and did very well at school.
‘At the end of the day, my parents would rather have a teenage daughter who takes care of her appearance than one who takes drugs.’
Quentin said: ‘At secondary school, I just felt very average. I didn’t feel like me.
‘I told myself that I had to go back to the idol of my childhood and become Ken.
‘I read more magazines and began looking at various cosmetic procedures. I wanted to change my all my facial features to emulate Ken.
‘But it was not just Ken’s looks that inspired me – it was also his dream billionaire lifestyle. I aspired to have the flashy cars and luxury designer clothes that my Ken doll had.’
The couple encouraged each other and started more surgery to look like Barbie and Ken when they met

Anastasia and Quentin both confessed their plastic surgery dreams to their parents and they happily obliged their wishes.
Aged 18, Quentin had his first surgery, also a nose job costing £3,000 and a year later had Botox injections in his face.
Aged 19, he had Botox injections totalling £900.
Quentin said: ‘I can’t describe how much happier I was after my nose job and Botox injections. I felt like I was getting closer to becoming the real Ken.’
After the pair met at the party in 2013 they bonded over their love of plastic.
Quentin says: ‘We were both at a big boat party about two years ago. I was on the dance floor and suddenly, I saw Anastasia. She was only 18 at the time but she was so beautiful.
‘Anastasia looked back at me and we couldn’t stop staring at each other. I loved what she was doing with her look, she had her classy aura about her.’
After their first meeting, Anastasia and Quentin immediately became a couple and were inseparable.

Quentin said: ‘The next week, we went on holiday together and I took Anastasia to my childhood chateau to meet my parents.
‘We exchanged presents. My mum and dad were absolutely delighted with her.’
After getting together as a couple, Quentin and Anastasia pushed each other to become the Ken and Barbie they had always dreamed of being.
The pair drove each other to make drastic changes to their diets and they also took on strict exercise routines.
Anastasia says: ‘I had always been into my appearance but when I met Quentin, my transformation into Barbie really began.
‘As soon as we got together, we started advising each other, pushing each other to be better.
‘Quentin also convinced me to hire a personal trainer. I work out with him several times per week.
‘And Quentin encouraged me to quit alcohol. We don’t drink, smoke or take drugs.
Anastasia now wants a breast augmentation and Quentin wants pec implants
The couple post a selfie of them flying by helicopter to have more surgery
‘Quentin sometimes drinks champagne but for me, it’s just litres of water throughout the day.’
The couple encouraged each other to undergo extensive plastic surgery so they could further transform into Barbie and Ken.
In 2014, Anastasia splurged £5,000 of her parent’s money to undergo a second boob job to take her to a 32GG.
And earlier this year, Anastasia had a second £3,250 nose job to emulate Barbie’s pinched nose as well as £4,000 butt implants.
Meanwhile Quentin had a second £3,000 nose job. He also spent £400 on eye bag removal surgery, £500 on pinnaplasty (ear pinning) and £5,000 on veneers that exactly matched Ken’s teeth.
In the last two years, Quentin has had 8 rounds of 1ml lip injections whilst Anastasia has had 4 rounds, spending £300 a time, to match their dolls’ lips.
Quentin and Anastasia have also had three sets of cheek fillers each and over 10 Botox sessions between them, setting them back £350 each time.
The twosome also pay £500 to have their teeth whitened every six months. They also regularly splash their cash on numerous beauty treatments.
The couple claim plastic surgery is a really taboo thing in France and is not accepted like in America
Anastasia spends over £800 per month on facials, hair extensions, fake tanning and nail extensions.
Whilst Quentin blows £400 per month on anti-aging treatments, haircuts, facials, fake tanning and hair removal.
In the two years since they met, Quentin and Anastasia have spent £63,150 so they can look more like their toy idols – but the pair still hope to undergo more surgery.
The long list of surgeries that the pair has planned include pectoral implants and Botox for Quentin as well as a further breast augmentation, eye bag removal surgery, ear reshaping and veneers for Anastasia.
Anastasia said: ‘It’s so wonderful because Quentin and I have made all our cosmetic changes together and we look more like Barbie and Ken than ever.
‘We complement each other. He’s made me a better person and he’s my best friend.’
The couple also love designer labels like Dior, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes. Anastasia’s parents have bought her over a dozen Hermes Birkin handbags which cost £7,000 each.
Quentin also splashed out £50,000 on a Porsche Cayman convertible – just like Ken drives.
Quentin and Anastasia admit that they’ve received some negative criticism because of their looks.
Anastasia said: ‘People sometimes get jealous of our amazing lifestyles.
‘They don’t make fun of us but they can say mean things behind our back.
‘Plastic surgery is a really taboo thing in France, it’s not accepted here like it is in America for example.
‘Quentin and I want to start a plastic surgery revolution.
‘Everyone can be beautiful and everyone can improve themselves with cosmetic work.’
